Part 2 Tokyo!

It seems like I just got on the plane here and now I am already going back. There is so much that I would like to do here but for now the time has ended. I feel like God has been so gracious to me through these past weeks. He has been changing my heart in a lot of matters and I just hope that once the dust settles I will see clearly to make the right decisions.

I will say this. God cares deeply for the Japanese people and has instilled in my heart a longing that many would worship and glorify Christ in this nation. I believe in many ways God is stirring up His followers and that wonderful things will be happening in Japan. The world may seem like it is getting darker but that is just the perfect time for the light to shine. God's power and might are still very present we just have to be willing to focus on where He is moving and not be overwhelmed by all the uncertainties. This is something that my own heart longs for and God, through my time in Japan, has given me a renewed hope and vision.

I love working with international students. The second part of my trip consisted of working with International Christian Fellowship. What that basically meant was that I was to go on campus make friends and invite them to ICF events and Bible studies. Weseda University and Asia University were the two locations where I would go out and meet students. At Asia University I had the pleasure of working with Maggie, one of the few Christians on campus. During our time working together, we met a new friend (M) who stated that she wanted to accept Christ. Please be praying for (M). She has a supper busy schedule so I don't know if Maggie will get to disciple her.

Between the meeting with students on campus and at ICF I would also meet with contacts that I had made during my last trip to Japan and also with new friends met along the way of this trip. Many people gave me a warm welcome back and I feel so blessed that I got to work and hang out with those from my last stay in Tokyo.

During my time with Japanese/International believers, my hope was that I could encourage them in ways that I saw God moving in their lives. One thing that I have realized is that Christians should be encouraging one another more often. I think too many times we are so concerned with what is going on in our own lives that we forget those around us. So God has been telling me to pay more attention.

There is so much that went on during this trip. Let me know if you would like to know more about my time in Japan!
